This
program trains students to work as assistants in an operating room. The Operation Theatre
Technology course provides a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to
assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. Key areas of study
include:
Sterilization Techniques: Learning to maintain a sterile environment in the
operating room.
Surgical Instruments: Identifying and preparing surgical
instruments.
Patient Monitoring: Assisting with patient care before, during, and
after surgery.
Anesthesia Equipment: Handling and managing anesthesia-related
equipment.
Graduates of this course are ready for roles as OT assistants or technicians
in hospitals.
